Alex Tuck, a consumer who spent a considerable amount of time trying to distinguish the best mortgage product for himself, is interviewed by professor Peter Ambrose. Tuck's opinions are wide ranging and highly critical of banking institutions and the mortgage system in general.

Father John, a parish priest in battersea, London, talks about the problems bad housing causes his parishoners. This is genuine testimony from a man who works every day with the consequences of bad housing in 2009.

Professor Peter Ambrose interviews John Jackson. The Jackson family had lived in Chelsea for nearly 200 years but by the time John grows into adulthood all of the old community has been replaced by wealthy homes and businesses. This is a fascinating insight into how demographic changes driven by personal wealth break down communities.
